Versatile and easily operated Geiger counter.
The counting time can be set to 1, 10, 60 or 100 seconds or set to manual start/stop. Counting can run repeatedly with the last completed result visible in the main display while new counts accumulate in the auxiliary display.
The GM voltage can be adjusted in 1 V steps from 300 V to 700 V.
When turned on, the counter operates silently, but for demonstration purposes the authentic clicking Geiger-counter sound may be turned on.
The counter accepts both BNC and Jack type GM tubes.
The current consumption of the counter is low, allowing it to run continuously for days on the six AA-cells provided. If the counter is not counting, it turns off automatically after one hour. The counter can also be powered from a mains adapter (not included).
With the optional USB adapter, the GM counter can be connected to a computer. Another option is a pulse output cable (for further hardware processing).
